I went into the hive to give the bees some fresher frames and feed them. I removed a bunch of old frames because I wanted to reduce the amount in there that the mouse had climbed all over. Now they have a bunch towards the honey end of the hive that are just dry comb from a prior hive. They’ll still need to clean it up a bit, but not nearly as much as the chewed up frames I removed.

I also put the flat circular feeder in (I think it’s called a “rapid feeder”). I placed it above the frames and let the canvas cover lay over it. I ordered a new canvas cover that hopefully I can put in next time because between the mice and the ants, the current one is disgusting.

I located the new queen.
